Individualised Activities
At Function Lifestyle Day Supports, we understand that each participant has unique preferences, needs, and routines. That’s why our programs are thoughtfully designed in collaboration with family members, house supervisors, and key workers to create personalised experiences that enhance daily life. Our approach ensures that activities align with existing routines, including meal times, toileting, pressure care, and medication schedules, while also fostering engagement, enjoyment, and personal growth.
Participants can take part in a wide variety of activities tailored to their interests and sensory preferences, such as:
- Nature Walks – Engaging the senses by exploring the sights, smells, sounds, and textures of the environment.
- Art & Craft – Encouraging creativity, self-expression, and sensory exploration while fostering a sense of achievement.
- Pampering & Relaxation – Using music, lights, and aromatherapy to promote calmness and emotional wellbeing.
- Community Outings – Providing opportunities for social inclusion and meaningful engagement with the wider community.
The ratio of Disability Support Facilitators to participants is determined by each individual’s NDIS funding, ensuring personalised attention and care.
Weekly schedules are flexible and carefully adapted to accommodate varying levels of energy, social engagement preferences, pressure care requirements, and overall health needs. Regular reviews allow us to assess each participant’s enjoyment, making continuous adjustments to ensure the program remains engaging, fulfilling, and reflective of their evolving interests.
