What inspired you to pursue a career in supporting individuals with disabilities?

Being a Disability Support Facilitator is an eye-opening and incredibly rewarding experience. It makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the people I care for, and it gives me the opportunity to work with individuals from all walks of life with varying support needs.

What is your work history?


I worked in Aged Care for over seven years and have spent the past six years in the disability sector.


What do you enjoy most about working in the Function Lifestyle Group programs?


Every day is a new experience, bringing fresh opportunities and moments of joy. Seeing the participants smile and have a great day makes it all incredibly rewarding.


What particular skills/interests do you have that you can share with the participants?

I have a strong interest in arts and crafts, including creating personalized scrapbooks for each participant. I also enjoy incorporating more outdoor activities, even something as simple as a walk, to promote well-being. Additionally, I have experience in sensory modulation, helping participants regulate and engage with their environment in a way that supports their individual needs.

What are three words to describe your personality?

Empathetic. Versatile. Observant.

What do you like to do outside of work?



I love reading books, watching movies, and spending quality time with my children.
